The Euro Cup 2012, officially known as the 'UEFA Euro 2012', begins tomorrow Friday, June 8 and will continue on until its final game on July 1st.
The inaugural game between Poland and Greece will take place in Warsaw's National Stadium (Poland) and will start at 6:00 p.m. local time (CET), 12 p.m. ET in the U.S.
Sixteen countries making up four groups will dispute the highly contested European championship which in its 14th edition will take place in two host countries: Poland and Ukraine.

The Euro Cup is conceived as the greatest football tournament after the World Cup, and in this occasion, Spain, favorite to defend its 2008 title and currently ranked number one in the world, may have to go up against strong teams such as Germany (ranked 3rd overall), the Netherlands (ranked 4th), England (ranked 6th), Portugal (ranked 10th), or other rivals such as France or Croatia throughout the tournament.

In the tournament's first game, UEFA's 'fan predictor' tallies the prediction of fans all over the world. So far, 63 percent believe Poland will pull a win against Greece, 14 percent believe otherwise.
