We have a temple called Chaaya Someswara Aalayam... means Shiva lingam formed with shadow.... it was built in 11 th century AD. Jaw dropping fact is, temple is wide open and we have a Shiva Lingam formed with Shadow... no one knew how and where that shadow comes from... recently few years back it's secret was cracked that shadow was due to DIFFRACTION Of light... and is caused by all the pillars in the temple.... scientifically as per records DIFFRACTION Phenomenon was discovered in 1650.... Nothing more to explain... That's India!!!!
